Because you haven't seen him in a while - unless you've been to our house and you saw way more than you wanted - here is a post all about our pup. If nothing else, he is entertaining and a good running buddy - except when he's not.
He had a great summer. He chased bugs, literally launched himself into bodies of water, and licked more people and things than we ever thought possible.
Here he is in Colorado. He got to spend three wonderful weeks there checking on cattle, riding in pick-up trucks, and probably driving Joe and Cindy nuts. :) But they seem to love him anyway, since he is their grand-dog.
This is how Finley enters the water. Its intense - he's pretty serious about fetch.
He brings the stick back very proudy and then this happens - every time.
This has become one of our favorite walking locations. Many Saturday mornings we like to go here
You can park at the trail head in the north parking lot at Bethel College. It is a well-kept trail with lots of trees and scenic stuff. You should check it out.
Finally, here is Finley stalking his prey...yep that's right - june bugs. He is fascinated by them.
Do you see it there on the ledge? He stood like that for several minutes until it buzzed away and then he sprinted off the porch and into the yard in hopes of finding a little snack...
Photo tag - Thanks Cindy for the pictures from Colorado ponds. : )
