Hate it.
I hate two phrases that I feel like people use wrong most of the time.
Confession: I could be totally wrong here, but it's how I feel about it.
Phrase One: "Irregardless." Well really, its just a word.
But, it is a contradiction in itself.
Someone says, "Irregardless, of that, I feel like we should..."
So basically, they just made no sense. They should have said, "Regardless, of that, I feel like we should..."
Right?
Phrase Two: "I could care less."
This is usually used to describe a situation in which the user is saying how little they care about a specific thing.
The correct phrase should be "I couldn't care less." This way you are stating that nothing is of less importance to you.
It drives me nuts.
If this is you who does this, so sorry for my grumpiness towards a phrase you use. : ) I will love you anyway and in spite of it.
