was yesterday.
can you believe it is already december? we are having a hard time over here. :)
well, i am.
i woke up saturday morning, then promptly woke up Ryan and told him the following:
"umm...so we are going to have a baby this month."
to which he replied, "i know. i've been dealing with the crazy for a while now."
after reminding him that the worst is yet to come...we decided to brave the crowds and head to wichita for Christmas shopping and buying the last few things we "think" we might "need" for when this little tyke does arrive. i guess now we just need to narrow down the list of names. this is proving to be WAY more difficult that we thought possible. we really want to make sure our kid has the perfect name, and will apparently not be compromising any time soon. but rest assured, you will all be informed of a name within a few hours after Baby Frasier decides to make an appearance.
now, for a brief tirade - prepare yourself...
i am afraid of and vow to visit it as infrequently as possible the store named Babies R Us. luckily, i believe that rayn and i are in agreement on this issue. that place was absolutely insane, and we were totally overwhelmed by the lines and the number of people buying GIANT items for their kids for Christmas.
ugh...by the time we left we were both pretty much done with stores, people and gift giving in general. :)
but we recouped with a nice quiet trip to Lowes. it was calm and quiet, and the whole place smelled like a Christmas tree! it was delightful.
that might very well be the first and last time i say that a trip to Lowes was delightful...weird.
before the week is out, i very much hope that we will be able to post some pictures of the nursery, my HUGE belly, and a basement that has a ceiling and walls!
until then, happy sunday night. i hope you enjoy your advent season.
